New Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is a budget-friendly powerhouse & competitor of one plus nord
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, unveiled at the brand’s ‘Galaxy Unpacked for Every Fan’ event, comes forth as a budget-friendly alternative to the flagship S series.
It was only a few weeks ago that we witnessed the next generation of Galaxy S. Packing visual brilliance, industry-topping performance, and ultra-vivid camera setup, the S20 series is most definitely the hottest Android commodity in the market today. However, all this magic comes at a pretty steep price. The Japs understand that price shouldn’t ever be a deal-breaker when looking for a great smartphone, which is why they’re introducing the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE – carrying the S heritage further a flagship punch but a cooler price tag.

Like a toned-down version of the S20, it retains its form in terms of design. However, it does a bit of quirk with the colours. You can now choose from Cloud Navy, Lavender, Red, and Orange. It packs an end-to-end 6.5-inch Full HD+ Infinity-O Display with a swift 120-Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, rests a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 paired with an optional 6-GB/8-GB of RAM. In terms of space, you get to choose from 128-GB and 256-GB variants. However, this is expandable up to 1-TB too. It will also be jacked in with Android 11. All of this will be powered by a 4500-mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging and wireless charging. It is also confirmed to be 5G ready.

The camera department, on the other hand, is decent-not-great. With a triple camera setup to its rear, it bears a 12-MP ultra-wide, a 12-MP wide-angle, and an 8-MP telephoto lens. We’re more impressed with the selfie-side of things; it gets a 32-MP lens upfront. However, the one thing that gets our attention in the S20 FE’s photography affairs is its Night Mode. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE also features an in-display fingerprint reader a hole-punch display so you can make the most of the screen.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will go head-on with the iPhone SE, the OnePlus Nord and other budget-friendly competitors in its league. There hasn’t been an official announcement on the device’s price or launch date. But we’re expecting it to retail for roughly Rs 35,000 and arrive in India by mid-November.
